When choosing flowers for your mother and your future mother-in-law, ask what they are wearing. Also ask if she has a favorite flower and whether she would like to wear a corsage or have it pinned to her purse. It has become popular lately for the mothers to carry a small clutch type bouquet or a few roses.  A few moms order wrist corsages, although they are less popular.  Our best selling corsage for our mothers is still our over-the-shoulder corsage.  It is worn high on the shoulder, can be seen from the back as well as the front, and doesn't tug on the dress fabric when mom bends down to kiss her grandchildren!

Traditionally, the groom's boutonniere is designed to match his bride, and the groomsmen match the bridesmaids.  The fathers' boutonnieres can either match the mothers' corsages or be a neutral color.  They can also match the other men in the wedding party, if the bride so desires.
